April 18th - Great American Cleanup - Gather at Jacot Park - "Behind the Middletown Shopping Center"
~ Supply Booths Open from 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
~ Return Grabbers before 1:00 P.M. or drop off at KMB Office, 2nd Floor City Building
April 19th -25th - Local Landscapers and Volunteers will re-vitalize Sunset Park Grounds. Mulching of trees and shrubs, pruning of Lilacs and honeysuckle removal.
April 22nd - Earth Day - Volunteers will work at Sunset Park from 9-3. Duke Energy donated $2000.00 for replacement rees at Sunset. The public is invited to a 10 a.m. Celebration as we recognize local businesses that performed $29,000.00 of in-kind work at the park.

April 24th - Arbor Day - (Friday) Noon - A tree planting ceremony is planned at Sunset Park. A proclamation by city council and a free tree give-a-way.....call for information about the trees. 425-7750
April 25th - Final work day at Sunset Park -8-2...cookout at noon for all volunteers.
May 8 & 9th - 9:00 a.m. Sunset Pool - Cleanup 2 flower beds, plant tropicals - Volunteers still needed!
May 16th - Bright Spot Flowers are Distributed from City Building - Volunteers Pick-UP 10A.M. - Noon
9:00 a.m. work with Jeff Michel - Prepare Welcome Sign at 122 and Towne Blvd. for Planting -
May 23rd - Plant Central Ave. Welcome Signs and Towne Mall Welcome Sign - Volunteers are needed!
June 1st - Nominations for Residential Beautification Awards and Business Beautification Awards begin. Businesses must be nominated by July 15th. Residential nominations must be in by August 10th.
